I refer you to the previous brilliant post -THIS KIND OF STUFF HAS GOT TO STOP

My main problem is that people nowadays are just making things difficult for no good reason – this never happened when I was young several things that I could easily do in one day now take a day each to complete ! I remember woking in the morning ,then washing my hair in the lunch time break so I could go out dancing after work .Now , just because of people getting in the way basking for feedback on amazon or sending me an electricity bill to read ,you know the sort of things that take up half the day damit , I have to have separate working days , hair washing days , putting the dishwasher days , thinking about re potting a plant days – and yesterday I looked out the window and see the man that cuts the grass has been ! – I had already plans for yesterday and the damned fool has to arrive on approximately the correct day , whilst I was busy sleeping , done the work and gone away whilst I was not looking ! that completely change my day to the ” day I click on the online banking day and click on pay the gardener day ” no wonder I can get nothing done , people ,what can we do to fix this , and today may be ” typing A blog day if I am not careful .

I was Trying to be funny by saying I don’t get as much done as I did when I was a teenager .

The Idea that having a gardener was a difficulty for me as now instead of an hour of cutting the grass I having to click on online banking , now a day I had allocated to ” thinking about reading an electricity bill ” has been changed to paying the gardener day , a two minute job. some people thought I was serious and urged me to ” sit back and enjoy the ride “

My reply is to this is to enjoy the ride today – and leave the siting back until tomorrow otherwise your giving me 2 more things to do today , and I had already allocated today to ” reading the comments on my blog day ” ??

  1. Don’t make plans……don’t itemise different chores in little boxes…..if you don’t want to do something on a certain day at a certain time then don’t…….just go with the flow……go with what you feel like doing that day…….if the weather is fine take advantage…..plenty of time to stay in and catch up when the weather is horrid….

    1. Totally agree Star! – My mantra – manana! gets done eventually!
Life is too short to be ruled by schedules for housework! I have a
friend who has a weekly list – and this must be adhered to – Tuesday
dust, etc etc.!!! – even to the point of refusing to join in activities such
as an outing for a meal – trip – movie, etc!!!!

      1. GG you have probs read this poem before….show it your silly girlfriend….lol..

        Dust if you must,
        but it might be better,
to paint a picture or write a letter,
to bake a cake or plant a seed,
to ponder the gap between want and need,
        Dust if you must,
        but theres not much time,
with rivers to swim and mountains to climb,
music to hear and books to read,
friends to cherish and life to lead,
        Dust if you must,
        but the worlds out there,
with sun in your eyes and wind in your hair,
a fluter of snow a show of rain,
this day will NOT come around again,
        Dust if you must,
        but bare in mind,
old age will come and it mightn’t be kind,
and when you go, and go you must,
YOU, yourself will make more dust!

  3. We have worked enough and had to do what was expected of us for so many years. Now is our time to do what we want to do when we want to do it. Enjoy and do what you want to do.
