How Old Are We….???
Now I would say all new members should be made welcome to Senior Chatters, unless someone can tell me different……so why when a new member, or any member goes to the trouble of posting something funny on the activity page they are very soon removing said posts and apologising to other members who complained because it just didn’t happen to be to their taste……well tough…..we are a accumulation of personalities and characters in SC and long may that remain….its not for anyone member to dictate to anyone what is acceptable to post, I am more than sure Rob or admins who overlook this site are more than capable of removing anything that is in really bad taste…..its a sure fire way to attract or keep new members……Notttt……for gawds sake what planet do some members reside on……….what arrogance to intimidate new members in this manner……and yes if the cap fits wear it…..

Hello George and welcome……I did not actually see your post but I am sure I wouldn’t have been offended…….I heard it on the grapevine as it were…lol….yes senior chatters has a grapevine you know…….I just find it so judgmental of some to act holier than thou…..its a site for serious chat, discussion, jokes whatever….just hate to think we may lose members before they have even had time to settle in and become au fait with the rules of the site…….hope you have not been put off posting…..
its made me rather emotional to be truthful, i don’t know how i can carry on lol
oh and for the record, the stainless steel knickers comment IS intended only as a joke and is in no way aimed at any one in particular, especially anyone born between 23rd of october and 21st of november

i feel a slight undercurrent is better than saying a name and having a go about it… maybe i’m going about it the wrong way.. if i am please let me know and i will alter my approach accordingly

Well well , I certainly opened a can of worms by my comment regarding an over the top post in one of the groups.? it says in the intro on the group ‘let’s keep things clean ‘ and your post George sure as heck wasn’t ? and whilst we’re still on the subject starlette , I was just exercising my right of free speech , something you’re obviously a great advocate of. Hello Scorpio……..and long may you keep all your friends in SC……and lets give the newcomers a chance to make some too……its very hard to join a site when you don’t know anyone, every thing is new and strange and its hard enough to find your way around,,,,,,,to my way of thinking if someone, especially a new member has taken the step of posting they should not have cold water poured onto their effort…….and again on the grapevine, apparently you yourself are not adverse to some fruity comments in the chat rooms, people in glasshouses really should not be throwing stones…….I advocate free speech……I also advocate fun……..I have now seen the post and for the life of me I cannot see anything shocking in it……..perv, porn, vile language I loath…..but I best put some specs on cos I have yet to find anything remotely smutty in it…….I am not the sites monitor of blogs or anything else, but I will not sit back and see member after member being driven away because of what some people deem as unsavoury…….carry on posting your fun stuff folks…..I can assure you it will be removed by the appropriate people if deemed unfit for delicate eyes……….have a happy fun day Scorpio…..

Oh WOW !! Posts should be in great fun and at our ages we should be able to enjoy a little titillation. Like you, Starlette, I do NOT agree with anything porno or perverted, and would STRONGLY object. I have been on this Site for several years, and have enjoyed my time here. I would hate for inappropriate material to spoil the Site. Let’s enjoy it and keep it safe, and just make Newbies aware of any inappropriate posts, albeit a few titillating ones can make us laugh as well.
Hello forever…….I think when the time comes that we are unable to recognise fruity innuendos from filth is when we really shouldn’t be on a chat site……lets face it we all like a giggle, and a lot of juicy ad libbing takes place on them…….its harmless and done in fun …..there is a place for various discussions……serious, religious, photos, music…..all good stuff……but lets also keep the fun between both sexes
I’ve been coming on this site on and off for a few years now. I would like to make friends but I don’t find that easy to do. After reading all the comments about George’s comments I shudder to think what George is thinking. As I said I don’t make friends easily, so I think I’ll just sit on the side lines for now.
to be honest mart i couldnt care less about someones opinion, i have spoken to admis here about it and they saw no problem with it…. i’ve got broad shoulder and can take some stick … but i can give it also 🙂 you should come into the chat rooms., its ok, i’ve only been here a few days and already i love it
