Oh laura this brought tears to my eyes – so beautiful. I will never look at my hands in the same way again. These hands are allowing me to communicate with all the wonderful people I have met on SC. Thank you laura xo
Laura very thoughtful,I have always looked at my hands as big and ugly ,lumpy from arthritis ,but now I will look at them as tools of love thank you Laura .
I know foreveryoung2, it made me cry too and it also brought back many found memories of my Grandma.
She was widowed at a very young age, had 4 children to raise alone, and worked her whole life through. Such an amazing and strong, yet lovely and sweet woman.
I am so glad you enjoyed it.
Mac, I am glad that you will look at them differently now. All that you did overseas to aid those people, your touch, not only with your hands but your heart will impact them (especially the children) for years to come.
I appreciate who you are and the mission that you are on.

Laura, thank you for posting this, brought tears to my eyes, your lovely wise gran. I have looked at my hands disfigured by arthritis, blotched with age spots and thought about all the manual work I have done and do not have a regret, hard work makes you strong. Thank you for reminding me what my hands have done. xxxx
