goldfish and chocolate

So, this is the first blog I’ve ever written. This white space is quite threatening. Shall I try and impress with my literary prowess and erudition? Or shall I be trivial and silly? What about all of those?
1. I’ll read just about anything except over didactic, preachy tomes. Not wild about any of those self improvement things either
2. Perhaps, my erudition is a realisation that I’m not.
3. I like chocolate, polished shoes (providing I haven’t polished them), and goldfish.
4. I filled up my petrol tank, went into pay, unlocked my car, got back in, fastened my seat belt and then realised there was no steering wheel in front of me. In a dignified way I got out of the car and walked round to the other side. I promise there are extenuating circumstances but none were apparent to the young man in the car behind me.
How do you finish blogs?
Let’s just stop.

  1. like chocolate… not particular about gold fish or any other colour…. can’t drive a car without a steering wheel , even this dum blonde knows that lol …..
Hello Vanilla Ice and welcome …xxLani

  2. I like chocolate so long as its the white variety and I am terrible at keeping fish (unless they are meant to float on their backs after two days in which case I have a natural talent). I once got into the WRONG car at a garage and then had to climb out, with the owner watching from the kiosk, and get into my own vehicle with studied nonchalance. This almost worked until I looked up to find the owner and the garage attendant sharing a good laugh at my expense.
I liked the blog – particularly the way you finished it.

    1. Ok for fish. I think they are sunbathing when they are lying on their backs, rather like a package holiday in Spain. You comfort me with your car mishap but are you quite comfortable with only liking “white” chocolate?

      1. I did worry about the chocolate reference – but it IS called white chocolate. Maybe ‘Not Dark’ chocolate then or ‘Ivory chocolate’. In fact its not really chocolate at all as it contains hardly any cocoa, but that’s another story.

  3. Well, what to say in reply to this blog, hmmm, I do like chocolate, although in small amounts. As for gold fish, well…….. and I have been guilty of trying to get into the wrong car in the supermarket car park – I have never been minus the steering wheel tho. Enough said. I love that life is such fun and we can laugh at ourselves.
