Glad Tidings

A sixty year old woman was walking along when she heard a voice from above.”You will live to be a hundred years old”. She looked around and didn’t see anyone. Again she heard” You will live to be a hundred years old”.
”Oh” she thought to herself, ”that was the voice of God”. ”I’ve got forty more years to live”.
So, off she went to the plastic surgeon, She got her whole body fixed up – face-lift, boob job, bottom lift, liposuction. Botox,collagen, nose. You name it, it was now transformed.
As soon as she left the surgeon’s office, she got hit by a car, passed away, and eventually ascended to heaven.
She said to God accusingly, ” You told me I would live to be a hundred years old. I was supposed to have another forty years, so how come you let the car kill me?”.
God said, ”I didn’t recognise you”.
