Fate Confused

I do live with the quotation of Henry David Thoreau, “I do not want to come to die and learn that I have not lived”. I may just be ready to get some overdue rest.
I am dating and as someone said that takes over everything. I also bought another car, went through title transfer to family member. I am completely redoing a kitchen and a bath and have had to make a huge number of choices and read and study. I also have to do my taxes in twelve days. Really I have to find a tax accountant, but I have to get things together and check things.
I did not plan for all this to come together at the same time. I do want it all though.
The domino or snowball, or fate just took over; or all three together. If I were wiser or smarter could I manage better.
I wanted the 70s decade to be productive and adventurous, but fate seems to be delivering faster than I can sort and understand. My equilibrium is seriously challenged and I feel foolish a lot, but I won’t come to die and learn that I have not lived.

    1. You guys gave me the courage to start, and you are helping me along. I feel so fortified by knowing your kindness. This is for both of you. I hoped but hardly believed it possible that I could make such good friends on the internet. I may have to get to Bramson next year.

    1. Pollie see above and thank you. The kitchen demolition starts Monday. The bath is 75% demolished and proceeding at a snail’s pace. and the snail works infrequently and not long at a time.
