false confessions at the Vatican

A few years back i went on a Trafalgar Tour of the Continent. we spent some time in Rome.
A couple of the young ladies were amazed at the number of confessional boxes there.
And a couple of non Romans wanted to try it out as they were away from home, and out for a good time
There was a R.C.chap on the tour who wanted to get in on the act, and told them what to say
and he said line up and wait your turn, most lined up were ladies ranging from young to middle aged.
They were told they needed Rosary Beads so i purchased a couple of sets from a souvernior shop near by.
They were told how to use the beads, after kneeling in front and saying.
Oh bless me father i have sinned, and when asked how have you sinned just tell your storey.
When we all got back at the hotel for the evening meal there was laughter all round.
And Folks even the true blue Romans were in on the laughter, one lady wanted one of the sets of beads as a souvernior!!!.
When telling the storey back here the true blue have told me that could easily happen there in strange surroundings.
