Enjoy your loved ones

Hi everyone my names Dennis and I’m a newby,I’ve been blessed in my life to have 5 beautiful children but i think I’ve been too busy with work commitments down the years to really appreciate them and it took a tragedy for me to step back and evaluate my life,I lost my eldest daughter Ness to cancer over 3 years ago and nothing could of prepared me for the grief and anger that followed so to everybody out there who has a loved one if there’s one thing you should do is give them a hug and a kiss and tell them how much they mean to you while you still can.

  1. Every day, Dennis. Every single Day. The good fortune of being surrounded by the ones you love does not impact until you lose one. (In my case). No words, that anyone could say, console or help understand the enormity of such loss or assuage the anger, grief, and disbelief. We are so lucky to have the memories and warmth love. Regards to you and your family.

  2. Such a terrible tragedy, Dennis and it will take a long time to come to terms with. I guess you have to hold dear the memories of the time you had together. My sincere sympathy – I wish you and your family all the best.
Its human nature that we take things for granted day-by-day and never really stop to ‘smell the roses’ — a lesson to us all.
