Dislikes of Chatting
Hi! My first blog and already I am stinking mad. Why you ask? Well–why do men call women that they just met on a chat site or anything else beautiful, baby, sexy, gorgeous and the like?I find that totally disrespectful, rude, crass and above all, looking for trouble.If you are a gentleman who just met a woman on a chatsite, you introduce yourself first. Or actually, ask if she’d like to chat with you. If she declines, be a gentleman and leave her alone.I have been the victim of men who do this. You tell them you are not interested in them but yet they persist then it drives me into Medusa mode to where I say something I totally regret all because he would not graciously bow out after the word “no”.
Please gents–for the sake of all involved–act civil and try to be friendly and polite. It isn’t asking too much. I might give you a positive response to your questions. Don’t be calling a woman you just met all those pimp pick up lines because that’s what it all is! If you are a pimp then you shouldn’t be in any chat site.I hope that you all will take notice of what I said and ladies—this includes you as well! Don’t be sexually flaunting your body to get a man cause chances are you’ll end up with the wrong person who will abuse you to death. Don’t take that risk.Hope my blog helps.

You should have some realisation when someone is just having a laugh. If you really think that someone would seriously write a response like that in Senior Chatters then maybe it is you who should get checked.

Cappuccino, I love your way with words, “attack of the vapors”. Women are more subject to an attack of the vapors than many men realize. I agree with Maree, we have nice men and we should not malign any unfairly.
Blackhawksgal, Congratulations on your first blog and it is a subject of interest to all. I have met men and made friends here which I appreciate very much, This is not the dating site. I do not use private chat. Private chat is like a private room with a man; this cyberspace chatting is that real.
That being said, a little flirting may be fun for some and I have seen men and women have a lot of fun with it.
The key is to form a relationship of mutual consent of some kind first. In most cases the men are not a problem and women have done as much as the men. Again, I do not do private chat. I have had those men who seem to be lurking in private chat, just waiting for a likely victim.
Never had a problem with that on Senior Chatters. Something wrong with me perhaps?
Rose1943, you probably don’t jump into private situations with men. If you do, they will be lurking there. I know there are scammers who manages to get in and I have reported them several times.

Before she was killed she was a killer herself with a vile temper , hence the saying ‘Medusa mode ‘ meaning it leaves one in a foul mood.
