Cruel world of Cyber Space
I am far from a writer, yesterday I started receiving bad messages on FB. and had no idea why,
Then a message saying I was blocked from some parts of FB. with no explanation then someone contacted me to tell me porn had been posted on all the places I go on FB. I had no way of knowing the source of this or the knowhow to find out where it came from some people that had called themselves friends said some very nasty things and if they had known just a little about me they would know better!
So now blocked from FB. late afternoon I get a message from FB. saying my account was logged into from Dominican Republic the source of the hacking, and as I live in the UK and have not left it since 2000 it was not I that posted this trash but still FB stops me from using my account as normal.
No wonder I am a lone person when things go wrong there R no friends.
Beware who U trust its better cold than hurt!

A similar thing happened to a friend of mine, facebook wouldn’t allow him to use his old account so he set up a new one and is still on.
He had to start again with his friends list.
There was nothing he could do, he didn’t know about it until he was banned then he was told why.

Confirms my decision not to participate in FaceBook despite family and friends telling me the ‘benefits’ of doing so. Can live quite comfortably without it.
Sorry you have had this terrible situation – no matter how much care we try to take these ‘nasties’ are out there all the time.

Woodsie, try not to make the problem bigger than it is. I am on the web and I that is where life happens now. I watch my great nieces fly off to Croatia and we plan reunions and funerals and celebrate all sorts of things and I learn a lot. Not using the web is like not using the phone was.
I am sorry you had this problem but stay calm and seek remedies and alternatives.

The world is full of dishonest people. People have tried to hack my FB, I get request from people who are already a friend but use that fact to ask me to friend them again. You learn the tricks and ways to keep your FB or any other program on the internet as safe as possible. Don’t let those fools take advantage of you nor make you fear being involved in something that makes you happy. You have friends on here that will help you get it sorted. Sorry for your experience. If they didn’t get what they wanted, then they have moved on to someone else. Hope it works out for you.
I can so relate to your problems with FB. I didnt get hacked into but I was deceived by someone I thought was a true friend. This was in a caregiver site as well! You cant get much lower than that to scam someone who is dealing with there loved one being ill. Not everyone is honest. Be careful who you trust.

I am so sorry to learn that your email account has been compromised – I am glad to say that I have not had the experience and hope I never will – clearly it is some small minded individual who draws pleasure by making other people sad – I wish I could give you an answer, but as this is not possible I can only express support for you and disgust for who ever it is having some sort of perverted fun at your expense. If it helps just read all the messages of support you have received from we Chatters – for who knows who may be next.
