  1. Wouldn’t it be lovely to have been able to have really appreciated those times and to have known at a younger age, that they didn’t last forever and to make the most of every second?. Lovely post Pols x

  2. If in need of times gone bye, we seriously look to find those times. And need we most ere near we be, to times we most wud like to be. It’s the Grandkids we would like to see, ourselves there in truth be, we’d need to say the things to them, those certain things we did them wrong, but they their own and frankly thus, they be a force no need of us. Once in a while, a child will listen…and there we have a moment, where you can relieve yourself of guilt and trial, and simply speak a truth. Then and only then, they will relate… my Gran told me that.

  3. That is so true Pollie…
I think about them days constantly. I often wonder, do we really have that much now? Have we really come this far? Is life truly better? With all of the modern conveniences we have today, why do we not have the time like in our kid days? Wow we were so deprived back in the day lol!
Lets see; We missed out on, cops in the halls to guard us, having sex at twelve, drugs in school, kids bullying and killing, at fourteen coming home to a house all to myself, getting to juggle weekends with a different parent, we used guns at school for play props and didn’t get to shoot at someone.. I feel cheated!! lol thank you Pollie. Very good read…”J”
