Casino Game Favorites

I enjoyed a getaway this past weekend. My nephew and his family invited me to go with them to Las Vegas. It was interesting and fun. We stayed in a place called South Point. It wasn’t properly on the strip, but it’s a tall building with good views of all the city lights. I didn’t do much gambling but I sat with my nephew while he tried out a lot of gaming machines. There was a real fun looking one called Hexbreaker. It had great sound effects and a lot of action. I also liked a game I saw there called Miss Red. My nephew said it was real easy to win on. I like the poker machines and I played those a little bit. We all went to see a trained cat circus that was run by a Russian guy. He was a talented man and he handled those cats and turned them into stage stars. We ate at buffets twice, one at the Flamingo and one at Hooters. I hadn’t been to Las Vegas in a long time and it has changed a lot since then. There truly is a lot for everybody.

  1. Thank you for sharing Las Vegas with us. For all who may not know, Las Vegas is probably the biggest gambling spot in the world. It is in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. I have been to Las Vegas 3 or 4 times. It does change and it is a great entertainment bargain unless you lose too much money gambling. Las Vegas has wonderful food and entertainment at reasonable prices because most of the money is made on gambling.

  2. Thanks for reminding me of Vegas, LouD1. I have been there too many times to count. Used to go 4 times a year when I was working. Met some wonderful people there who worked in the casinos. They love regulars………ha
Bought a Mickey Mouse watch there after I hit a jackpot. Was a childhood wish that I finally fulfilled. My favorites were the slots..most any of them. I could play for hours at a time. Had some wonderful meals and saw a lot of shows as well. Had tickets for George Burn’s 100th birthday party, except he didn’t make it that far. Saw him on his 97th, I think it was. It’s all changed so much now. Not the same anymore. Didn’t enjoy it much the last time I went in 2005. Was my last visit. Flew there a few times and drove many times. Was a 4 hour drive if I drove fast, or a 45 minute flight. Thanks for the memories………….:)
