Australian Lamb In USA

I was in a big, big super, discount type of store and spotted AUSTRALIAN lamb. I only noticed that it said Australian on the label today. Does this mean that the lamb chops are actually being shipped from Australia or what? Well I haven’t had time to figure it out, but I seasoned them and tasted a bite and decided that a a peppermint and vinegar sauce would be good. Well, I made the sauce and it all tasted delicious. Sharing ideas is so rewarding, but just what is being gotten from AUSTRALIA, some mating pairs, or same frozen embryos, or what? It boggles my mind that we could ship sheep that far and make a profit. The lamb chops only cost $6.99 a pound US dollars. I, like most long time US citizens, rarely eat lamb and know little about it. I had no mint jelly and I am feeling so creative cooking the lamb chops and enjoying a wonderful new food and experience. Thanks to all the Aussies and Brits who inspired me in this lamb experience. Do you think that beans on toast will be next and as good?
