A successful blog
I wrote a blog, and I am calling it successful. I had a lot of comments and some people wrote answers as long as the blog. I wrote to share my thoughts that could benefit others and i think I did. I didn’t expect the great benefit i got from others in helping me see myself better. I wanted to provoke people to consider what I was saying and they did. The blog was about “Honest Chat” and how honesty and openness is necessary for closer friendship. I know that it is, but I also know how lucky I am to be able to trust people and to enjoy a considerable level of freedom to speak honestly and openly. The blog was about a universal human condition and all need to consider it and I think the blog did that for me and several others, and that is why I am calling it successful.

It could be said that it is nice that you seem now to be reversing your stand Bloom, but you did insult a lot of people, intentionally or not, and your original statements? Yes, still there.
Georgia, I insulted no one and mentioned no names, so I am confused that it is being taken this way.

Rose, I admire your courage and directness. Your blog was insightful and most importantly HONEST. Whether I agree with it or not is not the point. You had the guts to put it out there for public consumption and then you took people’s comments, processed them and learned from them, all the while keeping a dialogue going with them. If some were hurt then that’s a shame, but I think it is evident that that was not your intention … (not going to speak for you as you have no trouble speaking for yourself and doing it well)… but maybe you put your finger on something that, through no fault of yours, was an issue for them. I think your blog made the site more interesting than it’s been in a while. Certainly no fluff in there :). You expressed an OPINION, to which you have every right. Nice going, and please don’t let this scare you away from blogging in the future.

I thought it was a great blog. I enjoyed reading it and seeing how people felt. A lot of good banter in that blog.

Rose I enjoyed your blog. You were spot on in your opinion. I didn’t agree with every point but you didn’t write it to please me. I can certainly disagree WITHOUT being offended. One thing’s for sure, you drew some attention lol. Banter is great no matter the subject. You have the right to voice your opinion and I hope the offended doesn’t discourage you from blogging. I’m positive I have offended people. It’s not my intention in any way. SC would be an awesome place when people can disagree agreeably like the adults we all are. Just my 2cents. 🙂
