TODAY’S THE DAY

In just about an hour’s time, I will be going to the Heart Institute here in Ottawa, to have stents put into my second blocked artery. I’m not nervous of the actual procedure, but I am allergic to the dye they have to use to light up my heart and I just hope they’ll give me enough steroids to combat it. Last time they didn’t, and I had a massive reaction with acute asthma and hives.

I hope you will all say a little prayer for me today? I’d very much appreciate it.

Hugs, JoJo

  1. Thanks SO MUCH to all of you wonderful friends for your prayers and good wishes. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your support.

My procedure went well, with minimal allergic reaction to the dye. However, I am still having occasional chest and shoulder pains, and shortness of breath. I am hoping this is just post operative problems and will pass with time. I have to take it easy for a couple of weeks, then will start an exercise heart rehabilitation process at the actual Heart Institute under their guidance and supervision. I am looking forward to the challenge, and to regaining my strength and stamina.

Once again, God bless each and every one of you for being there for me when I most needed it. You can have no idea how much it’s meant to me. THANK YOU!

    Hugs, JoJo xxx
