wet Monday

At a loss all the chores done and dogs walked .Sitting in study scratching about and tidying loose ends ..All sorted and at a loss dogs sleeping by the wood burner so miserable is this bleak day that i have put on the fire .Think i will sit and read watch tv and nod off and let the day slip over me .
Lucky to be at peace with myself but this has been earned the hard way .Only through mistakes made and faceing up to them and moving on with life have i got here .So many people are not at ease with themselves or those a round them ,looking for that door to move themselves forward to a better place and time .Please God we all find that confidence and peace found with contentment in ones self and this life we have been given . We all deserve that

Think positive shan after a few hours by fire a sauna a swim followed with walking my dogs ,Then feet up with pizza and sald with wine of course . Lovely wet rainy day in Hampshire England bring it on .

I think its easier for woman at home alone , they have kniting and sewing , embroidery and all thos type of crafts to busy themselves with , haveyou thought of joining a group apart from Chatters one you can rug up and get out of the house to pursue , ? the hardest part is motivation … then again , some like to be home just pottering , and your dogs sound wonderful companions , whatever you do ,do not sit at home every day if you can get out do so ,it is important to have the company of others no matter how brief the occasions ,

  2. Look back and remember things you would like you had done but you never did. It’s never to late to meet challenges. They are the best opportunity to beat the loneliness and get self-affirmation.

  3. Enjoyed your blog Shan…..that wood burning fire sounds very cosy..especially after a walk with the dogs! I love to have a ‘cocooning’ day to just relax…..read, listen to my music etc…but you can also have too much of a good thing too! I wonder if you have considered volunteering? Many opportunities and needs out there….gives a perfect opportunity for interaction. You can even do this through a ‘befriending’ volunteer program such as Silver line where you spend some time chatting by phone or visiting someone who may be unable to get out and about. In my area there is also an organization called Talking News which provides audio versions of the local newspapers produced for visually impaired people by a group of volunteers.
I am sure there are many opportunities out there for you to interact with and enjoy…..meantime enjoy those walkies and the comfort of your home….and writing your blogs for us to enjoy
