I hate the time change thing.

I have 8 clocks and 6 timers that I have to change twice a year. I have 3 alarm clocks because i can sleep through almost anything. But I do have 3 timepieces, which are pendulum clocks. They are a bear for changing their time. They have to be releveled, etc. And for some unknown reason, all my clocks have to be accurate. How could one live knowing a clock was off by a minute!!!  That takes a lot of time to do. The really weird thing is I’m one of those people, who are always late. I could leave the house @ 8AM for 2 PM appt., but stuff would happen and I’d  still be 5 minutes late. So, change all those clocks and timers takes up a day. AAAAAGHHH!!!!!

  1. It’s a fair point. I suppose it’s always been a problem, especially in very large households with a lot of timepieces. Maybe it’s a thing we have to bear if we like having a lot of analogue clocks. Pretty much everything old fashioned requires a lot more maintenance work than modern things. I remember when everyone had to build a fire in the grate every morning but how many people want to do that now? Only those who cherish such a thing.
