There must be a name for this- I woke up and I just had to get out of the house. I had no place I really wanted to go, just get the hell out of here. So, tonight I’m going to the movies. It’s been a while since I’ve been. I saw Oppenheimer. There’s supposed to be a pretty good comedy. But they never made a bad, lousy movie, according to ‘coming attractions’ and previews. I may be dating myself, but I remember going to the movies every Saturday and getting the kids’ rate- 35 cents. OMG!! It just dawned on me, I’ll be getting the geezer rate.

Fuzzybuddy , I have not to to a movie in a long time and rent them or wait for them to come on TV. I watched Oppenheimer up at my son’s house this past Xmas when we rented it and really like it. What is the movie you are going to see and did you like it?
I tried watching Oppenheimer but gave up after the fifth or 6th confusing time switch/flashback Ive got to the age where I like a running commentary. Shawshank is good for that…best film ever for me closely followed by some like it hot and darkest hour
I think there is a name for it @fuzzybuddy , its cabin fever, where you just get sick of staying at home and want to get out and about . It will do you good, I hope you enjoy the movie 🙂

Last film I saw in the Cinema was Ralph Fiennes in Conclave with Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow about the election of a new Pope. Very good film and well acted.
