The doctor will see  you in 2028.

Heart problems run in my family. So, I decided to see a cardiologist, since I’m already of some heart meds. In Jan. 2025, I called for an appt, which I got for JULY 2025. It was my fault, I entered the wrong time on my phone and I missed the appt. So, I got the “next available slot” was Oct , 2025. Yesterday, I got a call that due to a pregnancy, they had to switch my appt. I sarcastically said, “Well, just as long as it’s for this year”. The secretary answered, ” Well, no, not  THIS year”. Turns out I can see a doc in a town 40 mile from me in Dec, 2025. Otherwise,  it’ll be in  mid 2026 when i get an appt with my nearby doc. My medical group has a phone app, and while I won’t see a doc until Dec. 2025, I can prepay my copayment, NOW.
