I retired from work on the 8th of April and am still getting used to now working. At the moment, I am concentrating on catching up the garden, the weeds are still winning at the moment. Also getting a few local walks under my belt and having a sort out around the house

I realise that you wrote this six months ago, and I apologise for my tardiness in replying – but unfortunately I haven’t been on the site for quite some time. I retired (at the age of 56) in April 2008, and I can honestly say that I have never looked back.
I hope by now you have discovered that there are literally thousands of things to do in retirement. You will wonder how you ever found time to work (I do).
