A wandering mind
Do you find your mind wandering during this isolation thingy? It has been said many times that you just couldn’t make this up. Indeed, what we are getting used to would have seemed bizarre just a short time ago. I keep on feeling stuck between science and myth. The scientists say one thing based on facts. That is, until the facts alter and then science can do an about turn, it would seem. Then we have all this continued language of war and battles, winning and losing and so on. We even got the , ‘we’ll meet again’, bit thrown in.
The tangled web of truth and half-truth is confusing. Being drip-fed the strategies on a need-to-know basis as if we could not cope with anything else is an insult. As for the mistakes made, how can it be that there is not a mighty uproar? I am utterly saddened but it seems that we just have to bear it. I know that I am not fit or able to make the decisions but nor, does it seem, is anybody else. So it morphs in my troubled mind into something like science fiction versus Greek mythology. You know, on the one hand the saga of how mankind managed to wipe itself out on planet earth leaving no trace of how it happened. Was it climate change? Distinct comparisons to the demise of the dinosaurs. On the other hand are we the play-things of the gods? Are we being subjected to their wrath? Has the oracle spoken and thus we can do nothing?
On and on it goes. So this is how I’m going gently bonkers during lockdown. Stealing from another saga, I heartily wish someone would ‘beam me up’!

Mine is not to reason why, mine is but to do and die.
Your correct, who knows ?
Its a minefield….so many theories doing the rounds….some follow like Sheep…..others continue daily activities as normal telling us we are being brainwashed…….what is normal….no one knows anymore…….I just don’t feel we will or indeed should go back to the so called normal…..we have proof the planet is being cleaned……was it a master plan……..whatever we must learn from it now we have proof we are killing our planet…
In days gone bye we got our news from a few trusted sources In the UK this was BBC ITV and daily news papers. These by enlarge tended to agree on what was fact and fiction and where largely trusted.with the possible exception of some of the more sensationalist tabloids. As the internet and social media grew we had access to more sources of news, and these sources did not always agree with the old media.Truth is no longer based on fact , but on what version suits us best.We now pick and choose our facts the same way as we shop for clothes. As long as we like how it looks, it fits us, and is to our taste ,we buy it
Hello Prattle, I think we just have to dodge and weave our way through life, whatever is thrown at us we just have to keep slipping past it until our time comes . As for Beaming Up ! we are already beamed up . but its a ‘one way beam’ with no chance of getting back. Relax & Chill and by the time youve had another cup of tea everything will all seem that much clearer.
