There have been lots of changes with this new arrival, and I believe William had a lot to do with it. Diana brought both Wills and Harry up to do whats right, even if it meant pursuasive changes to the family,

I’m not being cynical here, and I think William and Kate are lovely and will do a great job for our country……..but the Americans seem to be more excited than we are at the royal birth……..just intrigues me………have we become complacent about the royal family because of some of the members lack of morals, and the cost to the country of the many hangers on……..don’t shoot me down here……..just wondering thats all
star I agree in some respects, its always lovely news when a baby arrives, but the news coverage is bizarre! Completely over the top. There are too many hangers on, cut the list of them down. Not exactly Up The Revolution but what do most of them do…..
Actually ur right star but in saying that although am not a royalist never have been the one person am pleased for is Diana am sure she is looking down from heaven i was wishing for a girl and was hoping if it was wills would do the right thing by naming her DIANA av not heard one comment about how proud diana would’v been had she not “Died” in such mysterous circomstances just my oppinion.
Always Congrats to the parents of a newborn baby! In this instance, I must also include congrats to those who are royalists and wish the line to perpetuate. As an American, I have to admit, I do enjoy the excitement, because I can do it from afar and not have to worry about my tax dollars. I certainly would not appreciate having to curtsey to anyone! I must say, the young royals seem to have a better understanding of their “position” and are attempting to be more “normal” than their predecessors. William and Harry both have chosen to fight for their country and not just lead a totally idyllic life as they easily could have done. It’s a start. Lets see where it will lead. Everyone deserves a chance, even if they happen to be “royal.”
What confounds me is that they had 9 months to think of a name for their child! Hi, I’m baby ???? What? I don’t have a name? I’m nobody? Even a “royal” needs a name! Tut, Tut and double Tut!

lol, believe me the babys name will have been chosen weeks ago…….it’s all royal protocol……..In this case I think we will be informed of the name quite soon, instead of the days it would normally take, and you are quite right, the young royals are a lot more grounded and normal, thanks to the influence of their mother Diana.
I agree with star, the overage was over the top, I turned on the news yesterday evening and for half hour the cameras were looking at the doors, one thing I did notice was the door brasses needed cleaning. And the presenters in the background were talking a load of twaddle. I wonder how much milk and nappies will be supplied free to gain royal patronage, whilst a lot of new parents out there will be worried how they can cope with a newborn child, with limited income because of no work.

Well there was alot of coverage here over here on TV and CNN and Fox News also carried the event.It was a happy event and am sure Prince William and Kate will be wonderful parents . Yes Peter I understand where you are coming from my friend. I see they named his and it is Daniel Andrew lovely name. Wanted Dianne to name her second son Andrew but she named him Joseph Andrew instead. 🙂

It would have been nice if he was to be known as Alexander, its much better than plain old George!!! He will be known as King George VII when he reigns.
