27th May

This day is my remembrance day. This day I recall the names and the faces. Not twisted dead faces, but laughing live faces. The living faces. Faces of friends now long gone.

Over the years I have lost others. Some to illness. Some by their own hand.

Today I remember them all.

No-one really dies until their name is forgotten. So, as I’m the last, it’s down to me to do the remembering.

  2. They will not grow old as we who are left grow old
Age will not weary them nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them. We will remember them

  3. Way, I hope you celebrate the life and laughter as you remember it but of course mingled with the sadness and pain that goes the whole process of losing friends and loved ones.- however you chose to. Nobody is ever dead if they are not forgotten.x
