When im 65

Well 65 on monday.
Time to look back and see if it was a good or bad trip.
All my friends and some family will be here this weekend.
So i am sure i will be told what i did right and all i did wrong.
I do know that i never got rich even though i always had work.
But i never was hungry..and i like good food.lol
Always been a gypsy love to travel.
My poor mother asking my brothers and sisters what country is he in now.lol

But if i was asked would i do it all again….not sure

Most people ask why live in germany.
Well i did try last year in november to go back to wales to settle.
But it was so change i didnt like it there not my world anymore.
And so many of my old pals dead and gone already.

So starting a new life or whats left of it here.
And feel great to be here where i know my way about.
Looking forward to the next 65….smile

    1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY for next Monday percy, if you have lived your life to the full, did what you wanted and needed to do at the time, saw a lot of the world and that in itself is the experience of a life time , you must have some treasured memories, so I would say a life well lived, and if you have been happy as well what a bonus, all the best for a wonderful birthday. and many more to follow xx.

  1. Percy, you would have regretted it if you had not travelled, must have been what you wanted to do at the time, I think by and large we usually regret the things we didn’t do, rather than those we did, we learn to live with those, your travels took you to Germany where you have made your home, so you got that right. Here’s wishing you a lovely day for Monday, happy birthday, enjoy.xxx

  2. Welsh…sounds as though you had a good life, with very few regrets. On my fridge door, there’s a magnet which says …..’It is better to regret something you did rather than to regret something you didn’t do’, just as star says.
S’pose we all look back at life at some point-I regret hurting people , I had a sharp tongue and very little patience when I was younger. Don’t think I’ve changed all that much to be honest!
Have a great weekend, Welsh…and a really lovely birthday
    Mxx
