Typhoons in Japan

As you likely, have heard there are very serious and threatening typhoons in Japan now. They have had record breaking rain and flooding and mudslides during the past month or more, and now are being beaten once again. This year alone they have suffered earthquakes, Tsunamis, tremendous loss of life as people were literally swept out to sea by the thousands, and injured/killed from the earthquakes. To make matters worse, they are enduring a high amount of radioactivity from the damaged Nuclear Reactors and the amount of fallout is proportional to Russia’s Chernoble disaster. Now, as the rivers and lakes are completely flooded from previous rain this typhoon is dumping more rain on them than they can ever recall in known history.
At this point there is little or nothing that we can actually do for them. What we can do for them is pray. I’m not talking about “Oh well there’s nothing we can do so we’ll just pray”, but get down on our knees and seek God for their protection, praying with ferver. You and I have known tragedies in our own lives and have gone to Prayer, and these people deserve our sincere Prayers of Faith. I’m not telling you something that you don’t know here, but God listens and hears our prayers, and when we believe we can move mountains. And of course if it were our country and our families we wouldn’t hesitate right?
I talk, daily, to Chie. I promised that we would lift them up to the Lord in Prayer. Thank You 🙂
Paul

  1. My heart goes out to the Japanese nation for the really dreadful tragedies that have befallen them. Thanks for pointing it out to us Paul – they will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. It is really good to see all of you once again. The leg is healed 95% and getting around kickin’ up dust everywhere! Thank you all for your prayers, I’ve just learned that the Typhoon is heading out of Japan. Whew! So glad to hear that news, even though it did leave a torrent of water behind. Japanese must all be AQUARIANS I swear! The “Water Bearers” have borne up through more water than Neptune! It’ll take ’em five years to dry!!! 🙂
