RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011

I don’t normally get into the swing of things when there is a sports competition on, except maybe a few Olympic events, and it is the same with the Rugby World Cup we are hosting this year. However lol!!!! What is fascinating me, and I will admit you will find me cheering along with almost every other New Zealander, is what they are calling the haka face offs before the first match. The first match is Tonga and the All Blacks and Tonga has a haka of their own. They also have the right to go first, and are hoping as a mark of respect the All Blacks will leave their chant until they have finished. There are several matches with this type of start, as in haka’s from both sides. I think there will be more noise during these than during the match lol. And since the powers that be have banned the vuvuzella’s and anything else loud, it is left up to the crowd to raise the decibel level. What is strange is that they have declared streakers to be ok hahahaha.
