remembrance Sunday….

We remember those who died in the two great World Wars and those who have died in conflicts ever since including Northern Ireland, Falkland Islands, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

In all these places and Libya as well, many civilians died.

On Remembrance Sunday, we must remember all those who have died as a direct result of warfare.

Others have died in non military activity. Flt Lt Jon Egging was the Red Arrows pilot who crashed shortly after a spectacular air display over Bournemouth. Remembrance Sunday will not be easy for those who loved him and flew with him.

All these conflicts with the exception of the World Wars took place overseas and may have left us unaffected.

Unlike Royal Wootton Bassett where people came out in their droves to salute our war dead, most of us have not been touched.

But as I watch news stories and documentaries, I know that most of those who have died are the same age as my children.
That’s why I will never forget those who have perished on Remembrance Sunday……. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

We must never forget what these young men and women have sacrificed so we can stay free and safe. We have another enemy now, cowards who kill becouse they want our country to be Islamic, well, thats what i believe, until the goverment stop pussy footing around our men and women will continue to die in a war that we didnt start or voted for.
