Not Today
To fly above the clouds, and soar atop the winds,
To gallop fast upon a horse, with water at his shins,
To see a desert in full bloom, and a starry night,
To be upon a mountain top, and see an eagle take full flight,
I’d love to see and do these things, before I’m old and grey,
Who knows? maybe I will,
Just not today.

Very nice Tanya ! I hope your wishes will come true ! 🙂
I enjoyed your poem! A friend an I have recently been discussing our “bucket lists”. I don’t have the freedom to pursue some of mine right now, but maybe someday. It is fun to think of the things I’d like to see and experience before my time on this earth is over, exciting to dream about actually doing them.
Enjoyed your inspiring poem Tanya. A great reminder we all should remember our bucket lists. I, like Kaybee, have limited time and resources. That being said, I have added a new item, and hope to do it in spring – going to try miniature dish gardening. Going to rummage sales to get old, worn out pots – like the vintage look.
Liked your poem Tanya.go out do them all, have faith in the thought that you alone can master them.
