I am not a believer. Sometimes I wish I was because it would make this so called “festive season” so much more bearable. The carols, meaningless, the First Foots that no longer come, the memories of those no longer just down the road or a phone call away.
Have your fun, celebrate as you wish. I have my memories.

I could really do without the Faff and Hype, and although I’m a complete music junkie I do get absolutely fed up with hearing the same Christmas songs over and over for an entire month, hence actively avoiding them in every way possible until around a week before Christmas day. It has become a tiresome predictable droll repetitive annual hassle…

Im completely out of the loop this year. It is both a relief and very very strange. Im lucky that I have so many happy memories. I also remember the stress required to make it all happen so I dont regret not being at the epicentre. Its rewarding to see my kids recreating it all for their kids, long distance this year. My only xmas this year…
