I have often thought about this and wonder the same thing except for the becoming a politician part. It seems like the evil and corrupt often live long lives and those who are good and just people leave us much too soon.

@waylander good on her. I love to see that happen. Perfect match for you. Lots of people here have dog shoes for their dogs. As in summer even if you walk your dog after work the ground is still hot. A lot of service dogs wear them as they have to go out at all times of the day.
