A couple more of Perast. Beautiful place. A very old town with artifacts going back to 3500 BC But you cant get at it just provides a stunning backdrop. Lots of characterful apartments woven into the old town but the old buildings are protected. Bright sunshine on the day but you can see snow on the hills and the wind was coming from there.

Well our good friends left this morning. Great week but tiring. Day of rest today. Then a busy week getting ready to leave the marina for the summer at the end of April. Budva yesterday. Marina for small boats, lovely old town and a table by the water. 💕 Today we go to a National park and wetlands looking for flamingoes. Watch this space. Best part is enjoying old friends ❤️

Well today was the walk up the hillside at Kotor. I include google earth map of winding path to get you up the steep hill without dying. The old goat herder, has a cafe at the top. Its just a shed on the side of his cottage. Food is minimal, bread and goats cheese. You have to protect your food from the wild cats. He has his pioneer type…

Well my life starts to get busy now. First visitors of the season tomorrow and for most of the month. An excuse to be a tourist. We hire a car, explore the area, eat out in fancy places. Been to close to heaven a few times not hell, but they wouldn’t let me me in… i still hadn’t finished what i was suppose to do…still figuring that one out… they don’t tell you what you were suppose to do… you have to figure that one out yourself….

Super yacht on fire in a nearby marina last week. Had to be towed out to sea to avoid damaging other boats. Now trying to avoid an oil spill 8000 litres of diesel on board. No one hurt thank God.

Wow, a lot of money gone up in smoke plus a lot of fuel hope they could confine the spill and not much damage to the sea life
