What a long week. My 93 year old Mum fell down her stairs. Breaking 5 ribs but more seriously sustaining unstable spinal fractures. It took me 2 days to get back from Croatia and took her 2 days to get the right hospital bed on an Orthopaedic Trauma ward. She spent one day in A&E and one day in ambulances. Tjay thank you for sharing the photo of your Mother and will keep her and you in my thoughts and prayers. She is one unbeliveable lady and you are blessed to still have her in your life. Glad you are able to be there with her in the hospital. Hope she will heal and recover soon. 🙏

Well how fast life can change. Just had a fabulous months holiday with family including my Mum. One week into our onward travels, so enjoying. Yoga out on deck at 7am. 7.30 message received; Mum has had a serious fall, in hospital, broken ribs and spinal injuries. Very scary at 93. So its back to the Uk tomorrow for me.Thankfully well…

Oh Tjay, im so sorry to hear that. Apart from the terrible injuries, the shock she had could be even worse. I pray she will be out of pain, and sending strength to you.

Hi there. I have just had the best month with all my family visiting Eurocamp in Sibenik where we anchored nearby. Beautiful inland waterway from the sea. Very safe anchorage between posh marina (over €100 a night for a boat our size) and a lovely wooded area for Wilson. Its amazing you can just drop your anchor for free. Mind you no water or…

Well Im having a lovely time with my daughters and grandchildren. My Mum and brother arrive on Tuesday. Biggest family reunion for a while. Its interesting how family groups eb and flow. My youngest daughter has brought a lovely young man into our group. I do keep popping into the site but little time to post much at the moment. Too busy…
