I love this!!! It’s so nice to get things like that from friends. A lady painted a photo of myself and Jojo when Jojo was still little. I wish I would get somewhere I can hang it again.

Its very rare for me to quit on abook after the first chapter. But 200 pages into an 800 page epic. I realised this one, despite being brilliantly written was just too clever for me. Too many characters, too much detail, also too heavy (yes in weight, not acomfy read)

Coincidentally Tjay I had a similar problem with the author of the novels about Inspector Morse and Jack Frost. Colin Dexter used so many words that I was unfamiliar with I found myself consulting a dictionary on nearly every page of reading.
