Well for anyone keeping up with my crazy life. We are finally back on the water. New gearbox and just about every part of the engine the mechanics touched. I will take a while to recover from the cost of their services. However Im blessed to be able to pay the bill and move on, literally. We are bobbing back on anchor in the evening sunshine…

Tjay, I had to google Tunisia and see where it was located so now I know where you are saling to from Malta. Have a safe trip and glad you got the new gearbox replaced and that you will be sailing off on Sunday .

I don’t mind admitting, I’ve never knowingly had a smoothie. A milkshake yes. Also a cocktail / milkshake made with Martini Rosso and Vanilla ice cream and a hand held blender. Does any of that count?

Good result in this mornings research. My Nescafe, gold blend decaf coffee. Uses a pure water decafination process. No paint stripper in my coffee ‘at any dose’. So pleased. 😄

Trouble is decaffeinated coffee doesn’t give you that mental ‘boost’ first thing in the morning. Without that, I’d probably kill someone ! 😆

Ok any opinions out there on healthy water. Going to Tunisia has made us look at maybe needing to drink bottled water. So many reasons not to. Might need to look at filtering instead. I used boiled water for several years, Now I am using filtered water from my refrigerator. When I buy bottled water, I buy purified or distilled water. I don’t think you have room for a distillery. LOL🤗

I wish I could help but obviously in the UK bottled water is an expensive luxury in relative terms. I don’t even drink a lot of tap water (I know I should) but I have many hot drinks. I think that would be the path for me given that if boiling water is an option then I’d have it hot with something in it – perhaps anything…even Green 🤢…

Tjay, What do you mean by 15 foot up on tarmac ? Do they not have laundry mat’s there where you are that you could take your clothes and wash and dry them? Well living on a sailboat would not be for me. Love seeing your photo of you today on your sailboat washing clothes. Thanks for posting the photo. ⛵
