Addiction & Young Teens
Reduced wifi has given me time to read. Kathleen Glasgow is a little heavier than my normal reads. But she writes with such authenticity on addiction of youngsters because she writes from experience. Her novel, Making friends with darkness was truely disturbing.

We had no electricity for several hours the other night, so Shaun read by candlelight.

I suspect that may not last. But I have changed local provider and seem to have consistent 5G which is a wonderful thing 👏 I can not just see your words of wisdom but I can open photos and videos. Ive not lost a message all day. Now that Ive had my SC fix. I need to sort out my banking and insurance and all that bl….bureaucracy. But its been a…

Another tech skill
Just to entertain the majority and maybe help out the odd dunce like me. Many of you know my wifi had been giving me huge problems. Now I knew about switching on and off. 🙄 But two mad louages (7 man minibuses)rides later I was taught the skill of taking out the sim and putting it back again. My Tunisian phone man was suitably amused. Alls…

My only thought here is that WiFi isn’t dependent on having a SIM at all. In fact I have two old phones at home still working fine using the WiFi but neither have a SIM card. So I can’t make it receive calls, or send texts (SMS) but I can go online, open web pages, watch YouTube and other TV, interact on social media, send and receive emails…
