I went to the annual U.K. car show !
Some 40yrs ago I was given tickets for the car show at the NEC. At the entrance a keen young man took the tickets and issued new ones together with a £5 refund because I was obviously over 65 and had paid too much! It was very nice of him but . . . I was actually about 50.
Dilemma . . . go with Vanity or with Greed ?

Forty years ago a £5 discount represented what? Half price entry? Perhaps close to that. I’d take small wins. After all, you didn’t ask for it 😊

Hello Ted I am from the US. Western NY not too far from Buffalo NY welcome to the group. It is also rainy here and chilly. They are even calling for snow next week. I am definitely not ready.
