Water and our health is a huge risk and not drinking enough is a huge problem. For me germs and blood pressure is my biggest worry. I go to a new doctor on Thursday and I will ask him. He is Indian so he probably knows a lot about water. Water can make us sick or kill us quickly or slowly but we die without h2o. We all need to take it seriously, though.

@roseinbloom Yes I agree. So many things we didnt have time to think about when we were younger. Other priorities. Also had a naivety that we could trust, our governments, health service, tap water etc. Its kinda sad that some of us (me) had to get to this age before we took a more active role in whats actually healthy for us.

Yes hydration. I’ll admit I don’t drink enough plain water, but I do try to stay hydrated by other means.

I posted this image because I find so much false information and the health products are the major problem. I take no supplements. Maybe, some would benefit, but they cost money and if I need a supplement a doctor should tell me that after they run all thos blood tests every year. That is my opinion, What is yours?

@roseinbloom Yep Im totally against supplements without evidence of deficiency. Most vitamins are harmless as they go straight down the toilet. But minerals are stored in the body and can be harmful. Iron cannot be absorbed without vit C. I like an evidence base before taking anything. But you are right, sifting through that evidence is…

I have read bad things, and I have read good things. All from different sources at different times. It’s difficult to know what to believe. So I drink either or both depending on how I’m feeling, or even tea sometimes as well. It’s just like everything now, if we believe and act on everything we read then we’d do nothing and enjoy nothing.

A Saturday morning Hello to everyone at 6 am CDT Zone in Chicago Metro. My weather is 67 F now, humidity 98%, high 80F and low of 66F with thunderstorms at 9 am and again at 3pm.
