Sadly @PollyPie is is entirely possible that Gene Hackman survived for days after his wife’s death without being able to summon help. In the advanced stages of Alzheimers the sufferer is totally disorientated without the ability to use a telephone or even to work out how to open a locked door.

Agree scorp. I also cant fathom that such a famous popular person can die at home without being noticed they are missing. Could it be that because of the alzheimers people didnt want to be bothered with him? So very very sad. If a famous person can die alone at home, it says alot about the rest of us.

Our late Queen actually became a very well respected car mechanic, working on heavy duty trucks etc.

Saturday evening, Just had some blooming awful frozen packed ‘Chips & Fish’ ‘English Style’ by HighLiner. If north americans really think this is the English favorite dish, theyll hate it. Pretty disgusting. lol. Sitting down now to watch a movie ive seen twice before ‘Edge Of Tomorrow’. Have a good weekend.
