I upload all of mine using my mobile phone rather than a computer which always entails taking a screenshot and then cropping it first. The action of taking the screenshot also compresses the image which is necessary even with photos I’ve snapped myself because the original file size is always too big to upload to SC. Hey ho! Im getting a problem in posting pictures in my new group. I get the message,
“Unable to upload the file. Sorry, you are not allowed to upload this file type.”
Ive tried with a few pictures by get the same message. Why is this?

I found that it is best when it is a jpeg file.

Try a screenshot of the image, or would you call it a screen grab perhaps? The new image is then your own technically.
