Prostate Cancer
We just found out today that my husband had prostate cancer. We find out next week if it has spread into his body. I have so many emotions right now that I don’t know how to deal with.

@mal491 I am so sorry this is happening to your husband. Its a lot to take in. Your head will be filled with all sorts of things. If possible, take one day at a time. Try not to think to far ahead. If you are not happy with something get another opinion on treatment etc. Ask many questions. You can send me a pm anytime.

Wow @Mal491 I am so sorry. Such a shock and then having to wait for more results. I too am available to pm if you want to sound off. I find writing my thoughts and emotions down really helps. Most of it I throw away/delete. But then find myself able to cope and select how much I share with who. Just my way. You will find your way. 🤞💔

Silent Film with Live Orchestra!
I’m shears amazed at how much variety Anchorage has for its small size. I got to watch two Charlie Chaplin silent films with a live orchestra! It was great!

Mixed feelings
I put in my two-week notice for my job yesterday. I don’t love the job but I’m grieving what it meant for me. I was finally earning a living wage and we had money to put into retirement. My mom always said there was a reason for things happening. So yes you shouldn’t beat yourself up over taking care of yourself and hopefully with that door closed a better more positive one will open. Good luck

We already had a couple inches, but we woke up to this and we’re supposed to get more this weekend. I’m so glad my husband grew up driving in snow!

@Mal491 , We have had rain here today in N. Mays Chapel, MD. just north of the city of Baltimore. I think you said you live in Alaska so I am sure you are used to getting snow up there. Thanks for sharing the photo of your deck with the snow .

Today was freezing in my office! The little heater I have just wasn’t helping. It’s believed the boiler conked out. So, I guess I’ll be working from him until it’s fixed except for the few things that absolutely have to be done in the office.
