They used to have carburetor instructions. That is when carburetors were a thing

Yeah no more pouring gas in the carburetor to get the car to start and shoot fire out of it. 😂

I also remember when some refrigerators had a container in the door to keep vegetables that tilted and could be taken out of the refrigerator for easy prep. I believe all the shelves slid out for easy access, and it had a special container for eggs.

To think about the holistic economy, making things that last would allow people to buy other goods and have more disposable income. It would be about balance in manufacturing and customer demand. I think the reason many things that are possible take a long time to come about is that they’re overstuffing the supply chain with junk. @JoyElaine

Jinxie and Ginger
Jinxie and Ginger are getting used to our new home. Jinxie was just a kitten last time she slept in the cradle, it’s becoming a habit.

I'm almost all unpacked
I have most of the unpacking done. We got gas lines installed a few days ago so we have use of the stove and dryer again. It’s starting to feel like a home.

@joyelanie , Is your gas stove a whirlpool , as it looks like mine and mine was new in 2001 so it is 24 years old. Love the wall hanging in the 2nd photo. Love your china curio cabinet . Love the old typewriter and are you able to type on it ? Thanks for sharing the photo’s of the rooms in your home.

Very nice. Just the thought of moving makes me tired. I can’t even imagine moving now. My mom had 2 china corner cabinets just like yours. Hers had lights in them to display her bells. She had tons of them. My mom was a knick knack person…me not so much. Lol. Everything looks great.
