My house is becoming a home. . .
Tonight my grandson cooked pork chops for dinner. They were so juicy and tender, much better than I would have done which is why I cook all my meat in the slow cooker. He not only loves to cook but he is truly a chef. He was trained in the Army and got to go to special cooking classes. He said it was a hard job feeding all the soldiers.

I need to get back to work. You wouldn’t believe what happened. . . Mike replaced the living room floor before I married him. Well the kid’s Grandpa who is repairing the Konawa House fell through the floor!!! I kept telling Mike that floor was getting bad. Their grandfather does that kind of work and is going to fix the house for them. …

I know there are different construction types in different parts of the world. That is very unlikely to happen here in the UK now due to stringent building regs. The climate here wouldn’t allow for timber construction anyway. Everything would fall apart after a couple of wet winters! 😂

I wish I could get a photo of Jinxie; the garage was added to the house after they overlaid it with brick. The two front bedrooms and the bathroom window looks out to the inside of the garage. I’m feeling quite lucky. Sitting in a Costa Pod within the hospital (waiting for my Dad) at a booth table with the seat facing the sun coming in through the window. It’s about 6°C outside but it feels positively tropical in this comfortable seat.

Moving, Moving, and still Moving. . .
