It’s a pretty bleak day here and the log burner has issues, having to use the gas heating. How I hate giving my money to the financially bloated and incompetent people how run these organisations. On the plus side the battery storage system is working well and will reduce our electric bills enormously. I think the saying is ‘Swings and Roundabouts’

Here it is a wintery wonderland. It’s currently 25°f with a low of 15°f today so a bit chilly. Also more snow is on the way and I have a grocery run to do

We love the morning, because we know that there will be night soon! We love the night, because we know that there will be morning soon! Who loves the morning if there shall be no night? Who loves the night if there shall be no morning.

I like this a lot. It reminds me a little of John Wayne’s quote. “Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday” @john5. @LoriAnn

Many thanks dj, so many years ago and in my youth I was in the Peace and Love side of things, you know tatty purple jeans and anti Vietnam War. I feel lucky that I’ve not changed, I still believe in Peace and Love, but nowadays it feels so marginalised.

I’ll get back to you on that one. I really am envious of your lifestyle tjay, would it be at all possible to have some pictures of your yacht? Just been out spending money! Samara has a habit of slipping out of her collar so we’ve got her a harness in various shades of pink! She looks even more gorgeous than ever now😆.

We leave something of ourselves behind when we leave a place, we stay there, even though we go away. And there are things in us that we can find again only by going back there.

Thankfully I have not yet got to the stage of bits falling off!
