Men’s shirts with breast pockets are going the way of Conestoga Wagon. If you go to the mall, men’s shirts now don’t have breast pockets. Those with pockets are in the “close out bins.” According to my fashion bible, Google, they are making men’s shirt without pockets to give them a slim, trim appearance.???? I can kind of see why- few…

I’m not sure if I’ve seen shirts with breast pockets for quite a while now, other than uniform issue.

Fuzzybuddy, it is cheaper to make no pockets, so I try not to buy pants without pockets. exercise clothes and jackets sometimes have numerous zipped and hidden pockets so you may have to choose those. I checked on Amazon and you may need to shop online. I personally think pockets, on shirts look more attractive but now they are pretty…

It’s autumn and almost time for a cherish yearly ritual- changing all the batteries out of stuff when we change the clocks. There’s remotes and all kinds of battery needing things. So, I got the big package of AA batteries. One thing amazes me is that I put batteries in my mouse a while ago ????? and it’s still working.

Yes it is coming, the old clock change! Almost all the ones here change automatically now so it’s only a few I have to do.

Maybe it was due to the full moon last night? I personally know of a few people who ended up being wide awake in the wee hours. Hoping you enjoy a restful sleep tonight 🙂

My gophers are gone. I had a gopher move in under my deck. Gophers dig tunnels and holes all over the place. They like to gnaw on wiring like underground TV/electric/phone cables. And gophers are family critters. If you see one, there’s a whole family. If one moves in, he brings the wife, kids, and grandma, too. It got into my crawl space,…

@fuzzybuddy thats something Australia doesnt have is gophers , and bears. But rats can get up in the roof and eat your wiring. We exterminate them ourselves as they to can cause a lot of damage. Once they made a nest in daughters car when they lived out on the country. Ate through all the wiring. Chewed through everything behind the dash…

Holy crap that’s a lot of chewing. We had rats at one time I freaked out and we put up bait boxes with blocks of stuff to kill them. We had to replace the blocks every day for about 4 or 5 days before they must have died off. Them suckers can do some damage.

My place was looking kind of grungy, so yesterday Brian powerwashed my place. Now, it’s looking great, BUT getting way back to admire his work, I noticed that a few piers under my place have deteriorated. Drat, I’ll have to have them repaired. Who ever said that you own a property, ” free and clear”, obviously never owned a square foot.…

Mate. I feel your pain.
However, there’s always two ways of looking at things. I totally get the continuous bills, but if you rent instead then a landlord needs to be badgered constantly to do the work, because they don’t want to spend the money either. The difference is that this place is yours. It’s worth it in the end 👍
