@Pinky Just poked my nose in on your ‘Opinions’ group and want to congratulate you on your initiative. Being on the other side of the world I don’t consider myself sufficiently qualified to comment on the matters raised so far concerning the UK but as the scope of discussion expands (as I feel sure it will), I have my soapbox ready! All the… Read more

Thank you Bob, I’m hoping more people will join in. Feel free to tell us what goes on in Australia, it’s interesting to hear how other countries deal with things. It’s not a competition, but perhaps we can learn something by comparison.

I’ve done it again, and I do know better. Normally I downsize the images for uploading and they load in seconds. This one was full resolution and needed quite some time to upload and of course, being of the impatient variety, I didn’t wait. Have now downsized so here goes again…

At he beginning of this week Robyn and I returned to her home town and I had the opportunity to snap some photos which I posted a few days ago. @Jim1945 Just listened to your posting of Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman “Con te Partiro”, if my departure from life can be accompanied by it, I shall forever rest in peace. Many thanks for posting.

Thank you Bob, getting your own funeral music in place is a worthwhile thing to do.

What your Grandkids convince you to do. Some 10 or so years ago our 5 y.o. grandson had two major passions, trains and ninjas. So I was given the task by him to combine these two themes into one. And so was born – The Day the Flying Scotsman was taken over by Ninjas. I’d forgotten all about it until just today when I came across it again…

Really like the picture of the Flying Scotman train with the Ninjas that you made for your grandchildren, Bob.
