Life is…
I’ve been dealing with a lot of stuff the last few months, none of it very nice. But today i managed to get to Zeeland in the Netherlands, which is right on the North Sea coast. We all need, at times, a ‘happy’ place to escape to when worldly cares are almost unbearable. I’m glad you have yours @Andreas 😊

Good to eet you, Andreas. Your kibberling and brew got my attention. 😋. I’m sorry to hear that life is kicking your butt. I hope that changes soon, and I hope you can take a bit of your Zeeland visit back home with you.
Cheers,

Olympics ghosted me.
It seems to me the winter olympics came and went without much blaaber. I missed all of it. Not my thing and I don’t really care. But usually the press makes a lot of noise about some bit here and there. Anyone else feel like there was nothing to get excited about this time around? Perhaps because it was in Italy, which has a difficult time…

Andrea, In the USA, there was huge media coverage and in other countries, there may be reasons for the lack of coverage. Don’t blame me.😖

High of 65, Low of Trust
Every year there’s this awkward stretch where winter and spring are basically fighting over custody.

Lost not looking
She complained of boredom, a day when nothing demanded her.
The hours lay plain, unadorned, and slowly sufficient.
She prowled from room to room, had importance failed to report for duty?
But outside, the afternoon carried on, it found no use for her at all…

Wow. I love each line. It explains the feeling, of life leaving you behind. I know this is what my Mum is currently experiencing. It helps me understand. Thank you. Im so solution focused trying to get her to ‘do stuff’. But thats not what it is about. 💔

Light er
The problem with a Philosophie corner is that it often talks too much about heavy chewy topics. It wears people out. Just get on with a bit of light hearted life, often more enjoyable. So i tried to come up with a lighter topic.
Why is there something rather than nothing?
Not sure…🤓

It reminds me a bit of the glass being half full or half empty. I guess it’s how you see it.
