Free Yourself

All people live in their own dream, in their own mind: they are in a completely different world from the one we live in. When we take something personally. We make the assumption that they know what is in our world. With One little opinion they can hook you with their poison, and now it becomes yours. Immunity to this poison is the following agreement to yourself: I will not Take Anything Personally. Free yourself of others emotional garbage. I will not let anyone enter my mind with their dirty feet.

The Cultural Change of Manhood

A spiritual practice or spiritual discipline (often including spiritual exercises) is the regular or full-time performance of actions and activities undertaken for the purpose of cultivating spiritual development. A common metaphor used in the spiritual traditions of the world’s great religions is that of walking a path. Therefore a spiritual practice moves a person along a path towards a goal. The goal is variously referred to as salvation, liberation or union (with God). A person who walks such a path is sometimes referred to as a wayfarer or a pilgrim.

  1. Good advice Hace………..its all to easy to think people are thinking and feeling the same way as ourselves………….like your teaching says………we all paint our own little pictures in our own minds……….no one else sees them…x

  2. I don’t believe people think like me,we all come from different backgrounds,…some have been brought up in complete and utter ignorance and confusion.and some may say what is reality,…well let’s say I live in my own reality, and since I found it,(my own reality),I’m free,do I take anything personally, sometimes yes I do,but most of the time,it’s like water of a ducks back, quack, quack,…

  3. Interesting perspective, Hace. However, I would say this is only partially true. We live in our own minds AND in the world. Both are realities and both are that with which we must deal daily.. even hourly. To ignore this, I believe, is to be somewhat honest. Other people’s “realities” infringe on ours daily and to avoid this one would need to remove oneself from the world entirely. I would agree that only WE are responsible for how we interpret that which we encounter and that we are solely responsible for our actions.. Yes there is always provocation but in the end we choose our response, much as you say, with our “mindset”. Jmo.. Thanks for the blog, Hace.

  4. think we are all in different worlds in our own mindsets, hace, little offences may not be felt by some , others take things to heart, it is up to each of us to interpret others points of view the best way we can, i try to love all , forgive all ,even if (they ) are unaware they have been hurtfull, and need forgiveness, but that again is the individual mind set, some I grant you are a little harder to love than others , lol. but we each have our own thoughts and actions to deal with and sometimes that .is enough to deal with.x.
