chelsea fan likes 60s/70svinyl music

Hi I’m Dave in Tonbridge Kent, bit of an obsessive football fan, can’t afford to go anymore sadly too expensive , so have to go to pub or my trusty radio.
Love my books, thrillers@ spy being faves, I do lot of cooking, as I’m carer for my older mum/
parent who is 92 tomorrow.
I’m on benefit worse luck, how is £61.00 enough to keep a man alive, its paupers wages, be sticking children up chimneys next.
Better go for now, hope not bored anyone .

  1. 60sdave, having read your blog it looks like you just do a bit of miserable moaning, having a read your profile. There seem to be an awful of interesting things in your life, apart from cooking, gardening, music and a holidays in various far away climates. You look always for caring to an older relative, have you not like you own life, apart from whinging lack of money. A few people seem to be just able with enough to be happy on benefit, granted its not mean to live in the luxury times, its seems that people that are wealthy always want more. I draft your blog and believe me it can take a terrible length of time to get my reading blog, I’m struggle with words with my memory but I’m happy with what I have got. I read other blogs with their trouble with English and their spelling, but the spelling does not bother to me what they write, its the blogs the thought that matter. So 50sdave stop going with the pauper. I have never understand why folk impoverished, maybe they like booze, ciggies, scratch cards, sky tv, and lotto numbers it is maybe they are broke, something have to do without a few luxuries, until better monetary future comes. because that is why they are a miserable person for a pauper.

  2. Hi Dave,I`m in a situation like yourself but my charges are a 100 year old and a 96 year old,i`ve been doing it for 2 1/2 years and it is life changing and many sacrifices have to be made.i`ve learnt to concentrate on the things I can do rather than the things i cant do and really theres not much difference, they just change shape.
Also think “abundance”,I dont mean a heap of everything but adequacies and if your thoughts and motives are true then you will also have “abundance”.I think I know where your coming from but it need not be all doom and gloom.

  3. Thanks all for replies, I’m not pleading poverty by any means, I’ve cared for mum 6 years, 24/7, that is my life apart from 2 days I have a beer with a mate or I go to watch football every 3 months on sky, that is my pleasure as it is, got no sex life , no real job, I’ve only been on here two days , tried to be honest, don’t want any help or sympathy, but this site seems to be full of do-gooders @ people with there life all OK, sorry but I had to reply to people who are having a pop at me, thank you

  4. Hi Dave, you were just telling us how you felt, nothing wrong in being honest, the site just as in real life has the do- gooders and the self righteous, you would do best to just ignore, plenty of lovely people on site too, hope you stick around and enjoy it, could make a huge difference to your life, please do not be put off from writing blogs because of the odd unpleasant comment……….and power to your elbow and everyone else’s who also care for family members and other’s……… the sex life I cannot help you with…hehe……take care out there Dave……….xx
