Resolutions

I don’t usually make New Year resolutions. Not because I don’t need to make changes in my life, but rather that those alterations should be made regardless of the time of year. However, since I ended 2012 in a brand new situation I feel 2013 should begin differently as well.

I resolve to spend more time daily doing those things I love doing; be it reading, listening to music, or writing my new love, blogging.

I resolve to learn something new each day; be it trivial or mind-boggling.

I resolve to reach out and touch someone’s life each day.

I resolve to keep my mind as active as possible.

Lastly, I resolve to spend less time grousing or complaining. Life is too precious to waste any time looking for the bad – either in people, things, or situations.

  1. I have just started writing a blog to myself (document sits on my computer desktop) with similar thoughts about new year and concentrating on the small things that mean so much in life. Mine also included not buying something for the sake of it! I have an urge to simplify…and I hope that we can share our experiences in a few months to see how we have got on! Thank you xx
