Anyone for a bit of serious?
Does anyone agree with the theory that no species can survive unless it’s numbers are controlled and, if that is so, how long before that theory applies to humanity.

It already does. We’re killing each othe in great big bleeding batches and have been for centuries.
That’s true Way…..we don’t need to kill people off due to lack of space..

It may seem that way waylander but our numbers continue to increase alarmingly.
That’s what thermonuclear Armageddon was for, but we dodged that one, lol
Can we dodge that 50% of our population have no guaranteed access to a safe food and water supply or to recognized sanitation. What must be the outcome when a million new mouths each day enter a world that cannot feed those already here. Can there be an argument that human life is the cheapest and most easily renewable commodity there is?
I feel, that western society already makes decisions about humanity control families have been getting smaller for sometime now…. quite a few other countries are reducing there inhabitants in wars, and g.hards……
Well sir, I think you may have a valid point ‘ere but that won’t stop me ‘aving me say so t’wont. This planet, whens’t has found herself under attack in the past has rent asunder with pestilence and plagues and other stuff so she has. She’ll rid herself of these pesky over populating humans so she will. Just like she rid herself of’t bloody dinosaurs. Too much fornication and proliferation. On that note Louis, I shall bid you adios and goodnight.
Not me. I prefer to ignore gloom and doom that neither enlightens or enables a better life.
it’s a moot point but I guess if one has nothing better to think about it will keep some people busy……
I’m sorry. I hope other blogs I’ve placed dispel any notions that I’m a merchant of doom. Perhaps foolishly I thought there might be opinions on what must be a concern.
In addition to that what was said by Jul the former generations have had to face a war nearly every 20 years. Today nobody cares about the grow of
population and their problems in the environment they will have to face in the
future.
The theme environmental protection that finds more interest in the young and younger generations. And this world wide.
Every second the clock ticks someone dies and someone is born. As far as over population it simply cannot happen. The earth by control of it’s creator balances itself. I remember back in the 70’s Ted Turner (president of Turner Broadcasting System) preached population control due to the fact that by the year 2000 the earth would run out of natural resources and would be overwhelmed with over population. Well 2000 has come and gone. Also back in the 70’s and early 80’s environmentalists preached the dreaded “ice age”. Well I haven’t frozen just yet. Now it’s “global warming”. Special interests groups are forever coming up with scare tactics to control a people. Do I believe in doom and gloom? Absolutely not. This warth and universe was built by the creator God himself. Therefore man could not destroy or “over
populate” it if he tried. Nature cycles itself every 50 to 100 years. That’s a scientific fact! Let’s all relax and live our lives as God intended. Leave what we cannot control to him who created it before our time. Again, if we could ruin the earth in any small way I assure you it would have already been done. That IS just my 2cents. “J”
Bill Gates was interviewed on PBS the other evening concerning his charity work to eliminate disease in some African countries, etc. Anyway, he stated that the reason they have large families is because out of 7 -10 children, only 2 survive. As children receive vaccines and clean water, the parents begin to see, believe and trust that their first 2 children are living and growing into adults. Hence they no longer need to pro-create in abundance. So the population either dies of disease or reduced as the result education and medicine. Rather ironic. Both are population controls. Just thought this was very interesting. Thanks Louis.
Has no one told Bill that the population of Africa is growing at a truly alarming rate that neither disease nor education and medicine can stem.
